Made during a workshop with William Christenberry at Anderson Ranch, most of the components came from a visit to the infamous Pitkin County Landfill. The steel plates and broken bits of glass were sandblasted on site, from text I wrote during the workshop. The piece is held together with a threaded rod and series of washers and nuts. I did build the pedestal, which involved cutting steel and welding; for subsequent projects of similar design I hired out the metal work.
